Barack Obama on Israel

Barack Obama, throughout his political career, articulated a position centering on an "unshakeable" commitment to Israel's security, viewing the U.S.-Israel bond as rooted in shared interests and values. During his presidency, he emphasized tangible support, including securing full funding for Foreign Military Financing and providing substantial aid for the Iron Dome defense system, stating the U.S. would always have Israel's back against threats.
